The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sana’a Capital Secretariat praised the humanitarian initiative organized by Al-Wehda Sana’a Club under the title “Charity Classic,” held at the club stadium on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, corresponding to 20 Ramadan 1446 AH, under the patronage of the club’s Chairman, Mr. Amin Jamaan. The proceeds of the event were dedicated to supporting cancer patients, kidney failure patients, and orphans.

The Executive Director General of the Chamber, Mr. Adel Mohammed Al-Kholani, stated that this event represents a pioneering model that combines sports and humanitarian work, reflecting the important social role of sports institutions in promoting values of solidarity and social cohesion, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Al-Kholani praised the efforts of Al-Wehda Sana’a Club and its Chairman, Mr. Amin Jamaan, in adopting humanitarian initiatives aimed at alleviating the suffering of patients and supporting the most vulnerable groups, emphasizing that such initiatives contribute to strengthening social responsibility and spreading a culture of giving within society.

He also highlighted the large public attendance and the wide participation of public figures and content creators, which helped deliver a powerful humanitarian message confirming that sports can serve as an effective platform for supporting humanitarian causes.

The Chamber’s Executive Director called on businessmen, investors, and private sector members to engage with such initiatives and contribute to charitable campaigns supporting cancer patients, kidney failure patients, and orphans, stressing that the private sector plays a key role in strengthening social solidarity and charitable work.

The Chamber affirmed that such initiatives enhance community solidarity and direct efforts toward serving humanity, reflecting the authentic values of Yemeni society in compassion and mutual support.

In conclusion, Mr. Al-Kholani expressed the Chamber’s appreciation to all entities that contributed to the success of the “Charity Classic” event, wishing continued success for similar initiatives that combine sports and humanitarian work in service of society.
