Mr. Ali Al-Hadi, Chairman of the Board of the Sana’a Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participated today, Sunday, March 1, 2026, in an expanded meeting held in Sana’a under the chairmanship of the Minister of Finance, Mr. Abduljabbar Ahmed, and the Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Mr. Sam Al-Bashiri, in the presence of leading traders and manufacturers from Yemen’s ceramic sector.
The meeting, attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Salami, Board Member of the Chamber, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Ansi, Head of the Building Materials Sector, focused on reviewing practical steps aimed at strengthening the localization of ceramic manufacturing and exploring mechanisms to protect and develop national products amid current economic transformations.
Chairman’s Remarks
During the meeting, Mr. Ali Al-Hadi emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening coordination and integration between manufacturers and importers. He noted that the Sana’a Chamber of Commerce and Industry is committed to fostering effective partnerships that contribute to supporting the national economy and enhancing its competitiveness.
He further highlighted that Yemen possesses abundant natural raw materials, whose high quality has been confirmed through studies and practical experiences. He stressed that Yemeni ceramic products have the full potential to compete with imported products and establish a strong presence in the local market, provided that unified strategies and adequate support are ensured.
